Notice that the "k" is
outside the C circle, indicating that the area outside the C circle is not empty. It's the fact that this world contains something that is not an aardvark that makes the sentence
true. So, as long as there's some area outside the C circle that's not crosshatched and something exists in that area outside the C circle, the sentence will be true. (It's the same if the circle is crosshatched. But crosshatching isn't necessary. And I forgot to do it.)
